About Josh Dura

I hate About pages. I really do. They are uncomfortable to write, and never come out in the right way. The obligatory image of myself will NOT be making an appearance here, until I find one that I like (ie - see Hell freezing over).

Whats the purpose?

A lot of people that don't understand the community, or weblogs in general, usually ask me what the point of me having this site is. Well, basically, it's a place for 1) me to upload the work I love to share with the community, 2) a place for me to communicate and network with the community, and most of all 3) a place for me to rant when I am frustrated.

What I do

Currently, I am employed at Yahoo! in the beautiful Deep Ellum district of Dallas. I work there as a Flash Developer, mostly developing Flash Communications Server applications. I also do a lot of freelance work, so if you are in need of a Flash Developer, let me know. You can view my portfolio of work here.
